OUR HISTORY
Welcome to our site. My name is Paul Klinefelter. My wife Cindy and I started custom framing and photo processing in 1988 because we saw a need in our community. At that time we also supported regional and national artists by selling original and limited edition prints. Through the years we have learned a lot about artistic design.
As the years have passed, photo processing and photography have changed a lot. We now offer high end printing for digital photography. We print in-house on canvas, watercolor and a variety of photo paper. I am a bit of a photoshop wizard and create many amazing pieces that hang in homes and commercial collections around the country.
We can restore your old photos, and also create an amazing art piece that holds your heart and stops your breath every time you see it.
Along the way, we also added portrait and drone photography as a natural addition to our business. I hold a commercial drone pilot license and we have used this amazing type of photography to create truly beautiful, unique displays of art that connect with a memorable place or activity.
Custom picture framing has been and remains a joy. We welcome the most unique projects that you can come up with. Having over 30 years experience, we can frame pretty much anything. We strive to stay up to date in home trends and the newest technology that comes our way.
We love dogs and have the opportunity to live, love and spend our lives with the Newfoundland breed of dog. Showing in conformation and competing in obedience, draft and water work has led to many friendships and an awe of the capabilities of dogs and their people. This has led to high end shadow box framing of ribbons, photos and memorabilia. We are honored to have clients from all over the country trust us with creating gorgeous displays, each one unique and very special. Ribbons, photos, medals etc. are sent to us, at which point we develop a plan and then work through email or social media to let our clients approve ideas and see the correct size and proportion of the finished item on their wall.
Design can make or break art and framing. Having studied art and design for over 30 years, we are able to create exactly what your looking for. We love to try new ideas and think outside the box.
Covid-19 forced us to slow down and begin a new adventure creating fused glass artwork. We create unique designs that reflect our natural world, we often add beach sand and make memorials using pet cremains.
We maintain our custom frame shop and retail art gallery at 1124 Mears Avenue, located in the small town of Whitehall, Michigan. Our community is visited as a vacation destination in the summer due to all the beaches. Many people stop in for a look or to bring a project and leave as a friend. Our space is filled with our original digital and photographic art, as well as fused glass, suncatchers, art panels, and garden stakes.
Your walls should be filled with art that makes you smile each and every day!
